Roti Segi Empat?

Out of so many kinds of roti out there, roti telur, roti planta, roti sardine, roti naan and etc, my favourite is still the original roti kosong. It’s cheap, and its tasty! However, I noticed a lot of mamak prefer pre-made these roti kosong and when got customer, they just heat it up and serve. The roti will not be so tasty as it’s not crunchy anymore.

When I told FL about this, he said, simple lar, you go order roti segi empat lar.. At first, I was like, huh? really got roti segi empat? normal roti canai is round one mar, so if you order square one, they got no other choice but to freshly make one square one for you lor, in that case, you will have the crunchy and hot and tasty roti kosong!

Not bad hor.. hahahaha.. I tried and they did serve roti segi empat.. except.. the mamak guy stared at me when i order lar.. hehe….maybe you can try to be creative and order roti triangle, roti oval and roti hexagon!! Just make sure you won’t get hit by the mamak guy ya.. wuahahahahahhahahaahha……

The night without electricity…

You know how hot the weather is recently, even if you sit still under the fan, you will still sweat. It happened on last Friday and it was 11pm+, I was happily lying on my sofa watching one of the tvb series while playing online games with my laptop. Then out of a sudden, ‘POOF!!!!!’, I wasn’t happy anymore. No more tvb drama, no more fan, no more internet connection!! Oh no!! No electricity!!

After lighted the candle (ya, we only got one candle, hehe..), FL decided to go down to ‘8′. Actually he just can’t stand the heat in the house and needed to get out of the house to get some fresh air. hehe.. So I stayed at home, continue watching my tvb drama using my laptop while he went downstairs to ‘8′.

I got a call from him half an hour later telling me that the TNB is coming over to fix and seems like it’s a major blackout, the whole stretch of apartments/condos along the street all without electricity. He also told me he will remained downstairs to assist the TNB ppl.. hahaha.. assist…. so ‘8′ lar him….

At first I am still ok without the fan, but then after an hour later, mosquitoes came visit me and i started to jump around the house. I can’t really concentrate on my movies anymore and started to walk here walk there, at the same time, trying to talk to the fishes, asked them to hang in there without oxygen.. :p

2 hours later, the electricity is finally back. And a few minutes later, FL came back and I asked him how he ASSIST those TNB ppl in fixing the prob? He said he just stand there make sure they got do their job.. hahahaha.. Basically he just went down and chit chat with the other residents lar..According to him, a lot of ppl can’t stand the heat and drove out, even it’s late at night!

Hopefully no more black outs..and luckily it was not a working day the next day, else everybody will have panda eyes…

Plan early

I went to Susan’s baby’s full moon party last weekend. She named her one month old baby boy, Darren and he is such an adorable baby. At the party, I saw Susan kept asking another friend who is working as an insurance agent about the life insurance rate. When I asked Susan about it, she told me she plan to buy insurance for her baby Darren, she said it’s best to plan these thing when young.

Get a spare one during sales!

If you wear glasses, you definitely will not have just a pair of glasses. You need to have more in case something happened to the current glasses that you are wearing, then you still have a spare one. Prescription glasses are not cheap, therefore you need to find the right time to make the spare glasses, such as when there are on sales or when there are discount prescription glasses available.

So fast? It ended just like that?

Time flies. It seems like it’s just yesterday when I wrote the post where I wished all of you Happy Chinese New Year. I still can’t believe my 9 days long holiday ended just like that. So FAST!!

Today is the first day most of us got back to work and everyone looked like zombie. hahahahahahahaha… Looked around you and see whether your colleagues looked like zombies or not.. :p

Chinese New Year is not over yet, but our holidays are over. Luckily there’s another day off this friday, at least we can rest for another day and celebrate the remaining of the Chinese New Year, right?

Anyway, Happy Working….or should I say, 6pm faster come come? hehehe…

Congratulations, David!!

When I came to work this morning, I saw a very nice invitation card on my desk. Apparently everyone in the office received the baby shower invitations from David. It is on this coming Saturday, although he mentioned no need to bring any gift but we decided to buy him something unique and useful for the baby. We got ourselves a volunteer to shop for the gift and we’re sure David will like the gift we bought for the baby.

Where is the cure?

I first heard about eczema was from Danny. He told me his father has it, it’s a chronic skin disease and it always recurring. It can be caused by a lot of things such as allergies, food, chemical, clothing and etc. Danny told me he did a lot of research over the internet and hopes to find a cure for his father. I will also help him to research about it during my free time.

Extra pounds after the holidays?

Everyone in the office look tired after the one week long Chinese New Year holiday. I noticed some of us gain some weight. Some colleagues decided to skip lunch to reduce weight that they gained during the holidays, some decided to take lunch as usual, but they will take the fat burners and workout to burn the extra fat. Time to get rid of it!

Susan worked near my office and she called and asked me out for lunch just now. When we met during lunch, she told me she can’t seems to find any lunch mates after the Chinese New Year holidays as most of them said they had gained weight during the holidays and now it’s time to get rid of it. They even discussed what are the best weight loss diet pills in the market.

They must be really enjoying themselves during the holiday.

I just go back to work from my 9 days long Chinese New Year holiday. I’m not the only one that applied for such a long holiday, most of my colleague took such a long leave too, some even longer. When all of us back to work today, everyone said that they had gained weight. Some even asked around to see who knows which are the best fat burners in the market so that they can get back in shape.

It’s good to see you

I met Sandy during the Chinese New Year when I was back to my hometown. She was my secondary school mate and I haven’t seen her ever since we graduated. I almost can’t recognize her when I saw her, she looked amazing! She was chubby and cute last time but now she looked sexy and matured. She really had changed a lot. She told me she had been taking some safe diet pills and she really lost a lot of weight. We did a lot of talking and I am so happy that we able meet up during the Chinese New Year.

Happy & Prosperous Chinese New Year!!

Today is my last day of work and then I’ll be having a 10 days long holiday for the chinese new year! Hooray!! I don’t really enjoy chinese new year (I know I’m weird.. hehe…) but then I do enjoy long long breaks! Don’t need to wake up early, don’t need to go to work and still get paid.. hahaha.. that makes my mood very good already.. hehe…

To me, CNY means a lot of work, a lot of money spent, a lot of travelling and hot hot weather. Did you realize the weather is sooo hot these few days? Of cos, besides all that, CNY also means a lot of food, a lot of gambling, a lot of gatherings, everything also got its pros and cons mar, right?

Anyway, just like to wish all of you here, a very happy and prosperous Chinese New Year. The year of tiger seems like a good year to me.. well, I don’t know lar, according to the book lar.. hehe.. so hopefully it’s really like what mentioned in the book.

For those who balik kampung, wish you’ll be able to avoid jam (impossible!!) and have a safe trip back. Eat more, sleep more, gamble more.. :p

100 plus with water, cure headache? Yes, it works!

I woke up this morning with headache. Actually it started since yesterday night, I had headache before I went to bed and I didn’t really had a nice sleep as well. I had the weirdest dream whereby in the dream, I suddenly realized that there’s a comb stuck in my head (yes, IN my head) and when I pulled the comb out, there’s a hole in my head. Probably that’s y I woke up today with headache la.. comb stuck in the head wor.. then head got hole wor.. wuahahahahaha…

Anyway, I hate headache cos I can’t think when I have headache. Of cos I can take panadol/painkiller to get rid of the headache but I hate taking these pills. FL suggested to take 100 plus, warm 100 plus. So I brought a can of 100 plus from home to office. I doubt by drinking it just like that, it’ll cure my headache. Therefore I google a bit and I found the 100 plus remedy. Apparently we can’t just drink like that, we have to mix the 100 plus with water, with the ratio of 1:2. 1 cup of 100 plus with 2 cups of water.

I mixed and it taste quite ok also. It didn’t cure immediately but then it does gradually get rid of my headache!! Having this is definitely better than taking those pills right?

You should try this when you have headache next time.. it’s cheap, it works and most importantly, it’s more healthy than taking the panadol/painkillers.

Are you done with your CNY shopping? If not? Wish you luck!!

I went to One Utama last weekend, hoping to get myself some cny clothes. I’m not greedy, just one or two tops will do. I was there early, about 12pm, normally i will go at 3pm+, but somehow i woke up early that day, so went early lar..

The car park was full, and the guard redirected all the cars to park at the outdoor car park. However, we somehow managed to park indoor, there’s a small road that leads to the indoor car park and we were very lucky to get a parking place in less than 5 minutes.

There were a lot of ppl, inside the shops, outside the shops, basically everywhere! I saw some nice clothes and wanted to try it on but when I looked at the queue in front of the fitting room, I decided to give up. All shops have long queue in front of their fitting rooms and cashier, and you need to squeeze like sardine when you go see the clothes. Oh my, how to shop like that? Totally no mood d…

So I ended up not buying anything and this year i got no new clothes to wear. ya, not even one.. hehe, actually it’s no big deal but then when I open up my wardrobe, I realized all I have is black, grey, and blue colors clothes. What do you think? Should I wear blue, or black or grey during the first day of cny?

For those who still wish to shop for cny stuff this weekend? I wish you luck lar, I bet this weekend will be worst than last weekend as this is the last weekend before CNY….

Starting a new business

I just met John for lunch just now and he told me he has big plans this year. He plans to start a new business. When I asked him what kinds of business he plans to do, he told me he plans to sell expensive car parts such as Ferrari parts. According to him, those who can afford these expensive cars will be willing to change their car parts even though it can still be used. Well, I don’t know much about car parts but I did wish him luck and hope he’ll success in the business.

A better alternative

David has been complaining to me that all his staff in his company has thousands or millions of emails in the stored in the email server. The email server is running out of space and he needs to ask his staff to delete off these emails or increase the storage size of the email server.

I told him to check out the email archiving services, it may help to solve his problem.

Get well soon

We just got to know that Kelly grandfather was diagnosed with Mesothelioma cancer 2 weeks ago. We don’t know much about Mesothelioma cancer, all we know is that the cancer is an asbestos caused cancer. We decided to gather more information related to Mesothelioma such as latest news on mesothelioma research and treatments for Kelly as a reference. Hopefully his grandfather will get well soon.

Shop Online

If you did go to the mall recently, you will definitely see the crowds. Chinese new year/Valentine’s day is just two weeks away and everyone is out for the last minute shopping. Firstly, you’ll stuck in the jam near the shopping mall area, then you probably need to spend another half an hour or 1 hour to find a parking place. After finding the parking place, you will then start to squeeze in the crowds to shop. No matter what you shop for, it will be such a long queue at the cashier.

Where is the Bonus??

CNY is just around the corner. I guess this is the time where everyone is waiting for their bonuses and increments, that applies to me as well. However, this year I got news that there will be no bonus for us this year. My first reaction? Shit! no bonus? Already spend a lot before CNY and need to spend a lot some more during CNY, no bonus will be very cham la!! I think I’m not the only one that think that way, but seriously, there is nothing much that we can do.

Actually 99% confirmed no bonus d, but then I still blindly hoping for the 1% miracle. hehehe…..I want to see it with my own eyes then only I will accept the fact. hehe…stubborn rite? Reality is always cruel, so just let me dream…. dream for half yr bonus, one year bonus, two years bonus….

Since I’m dreaming already, please just drop one million cash from the sky, drop it in front of my house …hahahaha……
