The Macau Ferry Terminal (港澳码头)
August 6th, 2008 | by jys |Carrying a BIG luggage (weight 15 kg) and travel by bus is really not an easy thing to do. Luckily it was not on peak hours and there was not many people, else really don’t know how to move around on that small bus. It only took us about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the Macau Ferry Terminal from the Airport. The Macau Ferry Terminal is a bit like our Puduraya bus station, except it’s much more cleaner and it has air conditioner (toilet still yucky!!).
We are heading to Kowloon that is why we choose the New Ferry Macau. Others are all heading to the HK Island. We were there about 11:10am and the next ferry is at 12pm. No choice lar.. have to wait…
~phew.. tired and hungry (we had our breakfast at 5am!! when can we have our lunch?? ).. but we are not there yet. Still need to take the MTR to go to our hotel…
Next: Our hotel, the YMCA International Hotel
Prev:The arrival at the Macau Airport

hey the nwf allows for checked-in luggage right? do you check the luggage in the same place as when you are taking turbojet?
Jys:
Ya, they allow but I’m not sure where is the place to check in ur luggage. I carried my luggage to the ferry.

Hi, I’m wondering if it’s convenient at all for a wheelchair-user to get on board the ferry? Am thinking of taking Airasia to Macau and then cross over to HK. Thanks, really appreciate your kind reply.
Jys:
hey JingJing, if i’m not mistaken, I think they did provide a space for wheelchair user to wheel down to the ferry. But then again, I think it’s best to inform their customer service first, so that they can make arrangement.
Oh ya, by the way, just to inform you that Airasia also got direct flight to HK.

Thanks. I just realized Airasia no longer flies fr JB to Macau. Sigh.. was trying to save transit and fly direct to Macau fr JB.
Jys:
oo, what about JB to HK? it will save u a lot of time and effort if direct fly to HK.
