My very first Google Adsense withrawal!!
October 31st, 2008 | by jys |I’ve been waiting for this day to come. I started to write blog last year, google adsense is the first ad I put on my blog. After almost 2 years (on 3 blogs some more, sigh~ not enuf traffic..), I finally reached the amount (min $100) to withdraw. Wooray!!
First time withdraw google adsense, first time withdraw using western union. Hehe, a lot of first time. I went to CIMB bank to get the withdrawal form (yellow color), fill it up with the details provided by Google and I did not face any problem with the withdrawal except had to answer many many questions asked by the CIMB staff.
First he asked me where did I get the money from, then he asked me will I come to withdraw every month (I also hope i can withdraw every month lar..), then he asked what kind of website I have, then he asked how to register, where to register, how to embed it in my blog.. haha, ya ya i know he sounds REALLY interested!!
Anyway, it took me almost an hour to withdraw (there’s only one counter serving western union customers and when the staff went out for lunch, i have to sit there and wait for him to come back!!) and luckily the exchange rate was quite high, 3.6, the highest I’ve ever withdraw! Cool…
Hopefully I do not need to wait for another 2 years to withdraw my next google adsense payment!!

2 years?..wau, that’s really a long time
u can do more research on getting more clicks..
like mine, i get paid for the first time after using it for 3 months..
now, hehehehe..

ya, really long time. At first it didn’t even increase, then slowly can see it gradually increase bit by bit.

3.6 rate, that’s high. I only got 3.537 at Public Bank. I thought the rate is fixed? No? Hmm…

You have the exact rate in your CIMB payment statement? What is the rate? I still can’t believe is 3.6. ^_^
