Please help….. I don’t want to cancel my trip!!!!
December 2nd, 2008 | by jys |I am suppose to be very happy this week because I’m going for a trip in a few days time. Suppose? Am I not happy now? Well, Yes, I’m not very happy now. How come? Well, because I might need to cancel my trip!! This is kind of a last minute trip, we decided to go in november, and somehow managed to book the air ticket and managed to book the hotel. We did a lot of research and already applied leave. Was really very excited but now..I’m not even sure I get to go or not. What happened?
Well, thanks to the Bangkok protest. No no, don’t get me wrong, I’m not going to Bangkok for my trip, I’m just stopping by only. Transit also got affected? I don’t know, but seems like it is. Some people said, don’t worry lar, Bangkok airport gonna reopen soon, but then if it really open, I bet they still have a lot of things to clear off and I do not want to stuck there!!! From what I see, the situation there is getting worst! Can I request them to transit else where? Will they cancel the flight? I’m full of questions and nobody seems to be able to answer my questions. We tried to call the airline but nobody answer the phone. I guess we really need to go to the main office to ask, instead of wasting money calling them!!
Oh god, please help.. I really don’t want to cancel my trip..

Just gropping by….
I understand how you feel. Nobody can give us an answer. I cannot request for refund as they said “You will not know whether the airport will open right?”
Then if it is still close by my travel date…. it is too late for us to do anything! They think they can just postponed as and when they like…. we need to take leave to go for trip…. then, can they pay us for the additional leaves we are going to take? haiz…
I hate this too…. everything is just so uncertain….

EXACTLY!! All i want is an answer from them so that I will know what to do next. If they said cancel, then i can try to book with another airline, if they said will not cancel, then i can proceed with my research (half way doing it, no mood to do now also..). I just need an ANSWER!!!!!! Argggg!!!!
Where am i going ar? to taiwan…:) but now, don’t know still can go or not..

When are you schedule to fly?
The latest news – the Thai government is dissolved. The f****** protesters should leave the airport as their objective has been achieved. Maybe in one week or so the airport would resume normal operation.

this is kind of a last minute trip, planned last month.. aih.. really wish i can still go…tomorrow will go to the airline company to ask them (they are not answering any phone calls!!) whether will them cancel the flight!!
