Mouse ar mouse, I can’t live without you!!

Last week, I went to client’s side to deploy some fixes into their server. They told me their server room will be very cold because they’ve set the temperature to about 10 degrees. (the room was quite stuffy last time and their server got problems due to the heat) Anyway, I told them I should be able to finish deploying within 10-15 minutes. So no worries.

So they left me alone in the server room and went back to work. I decided to backup some files first before I deploy, just in case anything happened. That’s the time I realized the mouse is not working!! Oh my god, the mouse is not working!! I only know some basic keyboard functions such as cut and paste, how am i going to deploy without a mouse?

~sigh, no choice lor..I have to try anyway. After a while, I managed to open the “My computer”, then I got problem finding ways to click the “Folder” option. Arggg.. How to right click with keyboard? How to create a new folder? How to rename the file? There are too many ‘How tos’ which I don’t have the answers…

I was freezing in there and I still not yet finish backing up all the files after 10 minutes. Finally, I decided to go ask them to get me a mouse!! I don’t know how long I will need to be in that room if I can’t use the mouse.. Maybe an hour? or 2 hours?

Aih, I really can’t live without a mouse..
