I have worked in my company for 1 year + 3 months now and during the first year i got no bonus because they said new employees dont get in first year. Now second time bonus should be in March 2009, but they have deferred review until september and will pay bonus then and backdate any pay increase.
Somehow i feel deceived…… but must fight on! not a very good idea to look for another job at the moment unless i am certain there is one for me.

hmm, true, if you feel you are not being treated well, then another job is the best option.

i remember my first co, the boss gave 1 mth bonus but asked us to claimed as OT, wtf. got to goreng the OT claim form. bloody hell, want to save 12% EPF.

my company? this yr very ‘abnormal’, everything defer to Mar 2009. konon, nak gather market research, bla bla bla…. no eye see as long as they don’t bring out samurai swords ok edi.

hmm, defer to March2009? hmm, i did hear this a lot, a lot of companies, they are waiting and see how other companies treating their staff..if they see 90% companies still giving out bonus, then they will give also.. but if 90% companies also nv give…then i think..they will follow the same… that’s the so call market research gua..

I thought they gonna give in Dec salary, but it is not! OR, I didn’t get anything for this year???

hmm, normally give in jan one mar. no meh? some comp give together with jan salary…and some will separate it give beginning of the month, then jan salary at the end of the month…

ya, a lot of companies especially IT comps don’t give bonus one…really sad ya… i always see those friends working in bank or insurance comp get 3 or 4 months bonus..so envy…
