Learn how to say NO…
January 13th, 2009 | by jys |Do you know how to say ‘NO’ to someone when they asked you to do the things that you don’t feel like doing? I have no problem saying ‘NO’ to strangers, friends, colleagues but to close one like family and relatives…it just seems so hard to say no…
Recently a relative of mine asked me to do something, something which I can’t afford to do. This relative of mine will not accept NO for an answer and I really can’t afford to do it. A lot of ppl told me just say NO lar, ya it’s true, I know I need to say NO but it’s just so hard to say it out.
I have to take care of my relative’s feeling, I don’t want us end up quarreling, and I hope it doesn’t effect our relationship. Again, nothing is perfect… I know…
Dear relative, I hope you can think on behalf of me and accept the fact that I can’t afford to do what you request. Hope you can understand…

Your relative cannot accept NO but it doesn’t mean people cannot say NO to him/ her. This is our right to say NO. Perhaps we shouldn’t say directly, but we can find other way to reject his/ her request.

of cos I can say NO to him, but I can forsee our conversation will ended up pretty bad. I really don’t hope to see that..
ya, have to find ways to talk to my relative..hopefully it will not end up that bad..
