Domino’s pizza, 30 minutes to order, 45 minutes to deliver
January 19th, 2009 | by jys |Few months ago, I called Domino’s pizza for delivery. After I gave them my details, the address, the phone number and etc, they told me they did not deliver to my area. They only delivered until the street next to my condo but not my street. oo, too bad, since they don’t deliver to my area, I had to call pizza hut instead lor…
Two months ago, I saw the domino’s delivery ppl at my condo.. after that I saw a few times they delivered to my condo, so i told FL, I think they’ve now expanded their delivery area and started to deliver to our area. So yesterday night, we decided to call domino’s again..
Again, I gave them our address, and they told me, my area is not covered. I was shock to hear that since I saw they delivered to my condo before! So I told the person in charge about this, he then repeated my address and checked again.. and again, after he checked, he said the same thing, our area is not covered!
I asked him the same question again, if you said our area is not covered, how come i saw ur delivery man delivered to here a few times? I asked him for the branch number (the nearest branch) and he said he can’t give it to me, it’s not the right procedure, then he said he will call me back after he check with the branch. I started to call them at 9:15pm, after all the waiting, checking and etc…finally we get to order at 9:45pm!! 30 minutes just to order!! (I still don’t know what happened, after saying so many times they don’t deliver to our area, suddenly now they can deliver.. )
It was already 9:50pm after we placed our order and 45 minutes later, at 10:35pm, we received our orders…~sigh…dinner become supper..The delivery man gave us a “Sorry I’m Late” voucher (a free regular pizza for next delivery)..
What a bad experience calling domino’s pizza.. I hope next time when I call, they won’t tell me my area is not covered again…

Poor customer service. What’s wrong just to give the nearest branch address. He thought you gonna to bomb that branch mer??

I also dono ler… he said it’s not the right procedure, all delivery must go thru them first then only they will distribute to the branches…

Here in Taipei I dont called the central number, (2882-5252 which means hungry baba hungry, wo hungry wo hungry.) Its faster calling the nearest locations. Want to check out the different menu? http://www.dominos.com.tw

their website only shows one number to call, there’s no number for each store… I think they forced ppl to call the central number so that ppl won’t call the wrong branch (they thought it’s the nearest but actually it’s not)

Mine are worse still..We had a baby cockroach on our pizza and my son ate half of it.Cn u imagine they just apologized and sent me a replacement pizza instead..The chinese manager who talked to me are so dumb. I dont know how these people can become a person incharge or manager for call center’s.
