Ang Pow Ang Pow, come see which one nicer?

For the past few years, you will see ppl giving out ang pow packets to friends or relatives because they got a lot. Bank or shopping complexes giving out stacks of ang pow packets when you go change new notes or go shopping. But for this year, it’s the other way round. A lot of people asked their friends/relatives got extra ang pow packets or not. When you go change new notes at the bank, they only give you a few packets (unlike last time a whole stack) and if you go shopping complexes, it’s even worst, they only give you 1 or 2 packets.

So after weeks of BEGGING bank and shopping complexes for ang pow packets, hehe, here’s what I’ve collected..

from Jusco

So far they are the most generous one.. I bought RM 100+ from them and they gave me 6 packets.. but..not so nice lar, their design. hehe.. there are 6 ang pows in a packet.

from One Utama.

One Utama very stingy lar, each customer only entitled to change once if you purchase RM 50 and above. If you are their one card member, you can get 2 packets, else you will only get one packet like me (I went shopping twice so I got two packets). There are only 5 ang pows in one packet. Design so so only lar..

Hong Leong Bank

I got the most from Hong Leong Bank cos I changed new notes there. Their design…ok ok lar..not too bad…

wah, this one ugly man… hehe.. dark pink…oh my god.. They gave me 3 packets when I went to buy some CNY stuff recently, each packet only 4 angpows..

from Padini

got 2 packets from padini, each packet consists of 10 ang pows. Hmm, not bad lar, simple..but i prefer the big type of ang pow, no need to fold money mar..

from Martell

I got this from my sister and I love the quality of the ang pow. It’s not the shiny type, and it’s thick. It will be hard to guess how much money inside, wuahahahahaha…not bad hor..

I got 2 packets from Cold Storage. Not sure why they want to make it white/badge color, Chinese New Year mar, a lot of people prefer RED!!

J: what is this?
S: Ang Pow lar..
J: har, so big punya ang pow ar.. (can see both FL and my sis are laughing.. ^&*$#@#(*$)#*$#)
S: no lar.. you open up lar..

4 angpow inside.. hehe..very creative..

OO, the angpow is inside, aiseh, I thought give ppl so big punya angpow..crazy meh…imagine.. give RM 5 with such a big angpow. wuahahahahhaha….

That’s all I have..hehe.. I prefer the Martell one, the quality is nice, it’s thick and it looks simple.. What about you? Which one nicer?
