Air Asia, 500,000 free seats.. AGAIN??
February 10th, 2009 | by jys |I remembered last time, Air Asia only have promotion once a year, but now, it seems like every couple of months they will give out free seats, until I got no “rasa” already regarding their promotion. hehe…
The first time I booked with Air Asia, I went to Bangkok. That time I missed the RM 0 fares and I had to pay RM 9 for the air ticket (each person each way, excluding the tax) to Bangkok. The second time, I did not miss the free seats promotion and again, I booked flight to Bangkok. Yes I LOVE Bangkok. :p hehe… Then, my brother gave me the RM300 air asia voucher and I booked flights to Hong Kong (still need to pay Rm 10 per ticket, excluding tax). Then after I came back from HK, AA had promotion again and I managed to book tickets to Hanoi(still got few months away). Then after I booked the tickets to Hanoi, AA canceled the fuel charge and had promotion again. I remembered I was so geram that time cos it’s a lot cheaper without fuel charge!!
I did not book any tickets that time, then few months later, they have promotions again and again and again and today, they are having ANOTHER promotion (which i’m so tempted to book tickets to Bangkok.. :p, so cheap lar!!)…
Don’t you think AA is giving out free seats TOO often?

Giving out free seats is ‘supposedly’ good, but remember that the LCCT is operating beyond its planned capacity. My MBA classmate flew with AirAsia to Bali last January. She told me the queues in the airport were terribly long.
I would rather hope that AirAsia improves its service.

haha, true lar, it’s good, but seeing the promotion without having the money to book, also very sien mar..
ya ya, my friend went to Bangkok few days ago also told me the LCCT very packed…until no place to sit or stand!!

Now i see the promotion oso no rasa already. Haha! Dunno where to go too, and the travel plan is also full already..When r u going to Hanoi? I m going end of this month.. Hehe!

Hmm… I didn’t book any ticket this round as my holiday is based on my working schedule. And, my schedule cannot match with friend’s schedule, so I just gave up. haha~

looks like you went to Bangkok a lot of times already.. many promotions but too bad i don’t have so many leaves and budget.

hi..i want to book..but i cant seem too…
i click on the promotion ..then i go to this table with the green indicator..after that what do i do..?
i really need ur help cause iwant to book so that i can go back during holidays…

I don’t understand what you mean by green indicator. It’s quite simple actually, enter the dates and destinations, click the search button, then you shall see a list of flights with different time and different price. Choose those with RM 0 and proceed. If you can’t get those RM 0 ones, try to search again with another date combination.

Totally agreed. If they just stuck to providing regular cheap seats, with good service, they would be doing much better in my opinion. Im sure im not the only one who has had a problem with air asias service.
