WORST jam ever!!

I thought today will be a beautiful day (cos it’s friday!!). I woke up on time, (hehe, sometimes I overslept), get ready and went out of my condo on time too. When I was in the car, I heard radio traffic report said there are road closure at LDP. I felt strange cos LDP is a straight road, how are they going to block? A minute later, I knew something was not right cos I saw policeman at my taman, starting to block the roads.

I tried different ways to get to the kepong toll but then I realized these policemen don’t allow us to get near to the kepong toll! They forced me to go to Kepong!! Oh my god, I’m working in PJ, how am I going to work if I’m not going to use LDP? I’m a person who is very BAD with direction, I started to call FL for help.

He said since I’m on my way to Kepong, i can go to Jln Kuching, then follow the road signs to Jln Duta, then turned to Damansara Height. So i took his advise and drove all the way to Damansara Height. When I was there, I called him again for further direction, who knows he told me he don’t know which part I am and he’s not able to give me direction!! Argggg… felt like cekik him!! Asked me go Damansara Height, then tell me don’t know how to guide me further?

Anyway, I decided to find my own ways. I was in the Damansara height housing area, there are no familiar road signs (Petaling Jaya, Bangsar and etc) that I can follow. All I saw was those taman taman road signs. Luckily after I turn here and there, I found a way out! At least to the main road which I can see proper road signs!

So again, I decided to follow the road signs which points to ‘Petaling Jaya’ and I found that road signs can be quite misleading too. There are a few times I saw the sign board asked us to turn left to go to PJ and at the same time go straight also can go PJ. Anyway, I just tembak and followed the one with less car (everywhere heading to PJ also having terrible jam) and finally I saw some familiar roads. I’m finally around Phileo Damansara/Damansara Intan!! The way heading to ss2/pj was very jam so i decided to pay the RM 1 toll to go to TTDI, then from TTDI turned out to Damansara Utama. And here I am, after 1 hour ++, I’m back at LDP!!

For normal day, my way to LDP is pretty simple, my taman, turned right, then u-turn heading to kepong toll, then LDP. But today, in order to get to LDP, I went to Kepong -> Jalan Kuching -> Jalan Duta -> Bukit Damansara -> Pusat Damansara -> Phileo Damansara -> TTDI -> LDP!!!!!!

After almost 2 hours travelling around KL/PJ, I finally reached office!! And guess what, I’m not the latest, a colleague of mine which stays at the same area arrived half an hour later after I arrived!! You might asked, the road blockage is for what? It’s for the Tour de Langkawi Bicycle Race!! Can’t they race later? I think if they block at 10am should be much better, at least most of the people already at work!!!

p/s: I realized today is friday the 13, BLACK FRIDAY wor.. no wonder..so unlucky!!!
