5 cents not money meh?
March 19th, 2009 | by jys |Yesterday I went to one of the chinese kopitiam at kepong to have dinner. After we ordered drinks, I korek all my coins out, wallet very heavy… Our drinks = RM 2.90, so I paid the waiter 2 RM 1 and the rest I paid with coins (which include two 5 cents). After he calculated, he returned the two 5 cents to me and said, “ini tak mau”. Then I asked him, 5 cents not money meh? He then told us his boss asked him not to take any 5 cents…
This reminds me, few days ago, FL’s sister told us her company food court doesn’t accept 5 cents either. 5 cents not money ar? So what are we going to do with all our 5 cents? throw it out?
