Bitan (碧潭)
March 20th, 2009 | by jys |After we’re back from Ulay Hot Spring & Waterfall (乌来温泉和瀑布), our next destination is Bitan (碧潭), which located just opposite the Xin Dian (新店) MRT station.

Bitan (碧潭)

wah, scary bridge.. I’m afraid of heights..

see the lake? it’s green!
There are paddle boats for rental too. At first FL wanted to rent one but after asking the price, he said too expensive. I’m not sure how much here but they charged nt 350 (RM 41) per hour!

FL asked me to help him take a picture on the bridge but I was so scared. The wind is quite strong so it’s a bit shaky too… scared scared…. However, he still managed to drag me till half of the bridge, then I ran back after helped him took his picture. :p

There are some shops beside the bridge, some selling souvenirs, some selling food and drinks. We wanted to have a drink there but the price is costly! Finally we went down to the street and tried the King of Tau Fu Fa (豆花大王) + the Onion Pancake (葱抓饼) before we headed back to the Xin Dian MRT station. Yum yum…
