Sometimes.. I hate sms…
March 28th, 2009 | by jys |Few days ago, I received a sms from a friend, a friend that I did not keep in touch for a long long long time. She’s from my hometown and she’s planning to come to KL to attend her friend’s wedding. She sms me to ask me for direction, how to go to the hotel from malacca!
What the hell? asking for direction through sms? How am I going to reply her? From high way, follow KL sign, then come out from which toll, then go straight, see what building, then turn left, see traffic light then turn left? What is wrong with her? Does she really expect me to direct her through sms?
I do agree, sms is very useful sometimes but in this particular situation, I really think it is VERY inappropriate to sms! Don’t she think it’s better to just call me?
You know what, I shall just ignore this sms…I’m so sorry friend, but I really do not know how to direct you from your house in Malacca, to the hotel in KL through sms….

Ask your friend to buy a GPS la. No need to ask for direction. Like me last time, use GPS to travel to Genting then Malacca from Kedah. No problem at all.
