Eating at mamak… expensive….
April 9th, 2009 | by jys |Eating at mamak is kind of expensive nowadays. Yesterday FL and I went to the mamak near our place to have our dinner. We ordered a kuey tiao goreng tambah telur mata, nasi goreng usa, one teh and one teh ais.
When we asked for the bill, I saw the boss wrote on a piece of paper..
1. Nasi goreng USA RM 6.50
2. Kuey Tiao Goreng RM 4.50
3. Telur mata RM 0.50
4. Teh Tarik + Teh Ais RM 3.00
The bill adds up to RM 14.50. I’m still ok with the nasi goreng USA price, but the kuey tiao goreng? Rm 4.50? last time only RM 3 leh, since when they increase their price to RM 4.50?
One thing I hate about mamak is that, they can simply raise their price, any day any time….
