Hi, I want to ask where can I get the brown sugar? (in PJ?) I went to Tesco but the price is more expensive than white sugar. so i added white sugar for my first batch instead coz can't wait to see the result oredi..
can you share where to get cheap brown sugar?

and, do u know if i can put assam jawa in? I hv a lot of expired assam jawa with me...thanks ya

Jys:
brown sugar is more expensive than white sugar cos it's a better. hehe.. anyway, if you feel brown sugar is more expensive, maybe you can try with black sugar? i think you can get black sugar at those kedai runcit.. not sure whether can use white sugar or not, the formula says black/brown sugar only.. hehe..

assam jawa? yes i think you can add it in. Some ppl even add in meat!! but of cos it's not advisable to add meat as it will become very smelly and you might get ulat some more during the process..

Hi :D

I have 2 containers of garbage enzymes (3 mths + )on my countertop (far from heat, of course)
and I have seen ants going around the countertop and the wall cabinets above but never on the containers.

If I stand nearby, I can smell the enzyme.

Doesn't the smell repel ants and insects? :?:

Really curious to know how it can be used to repel ants coz they are always hanging out around my honet jar and edible enzyme containers!

What should I do?

Is it effective in repeling lizards?

cheers

Jys:
I've heard enzyme is good for ants, but never heard ppl mentioning lizards. However, I tried on ants and it doesn't really work. :p

I suggest to put some serai into the garbage enzyme. most of the inserts are sensitive with the serai smell... especially lipas.

Jys:
yep, can also, as long as no meat stuff. hehe...

Don't think I can collect 3 kg of kitchen waste in one day. Can I add in the kitchen waste bit by bit in different days?

Jys:
yes, you can but then you will need to keep for 3 months based on the very last time you added the kitchen waste.

what i suggest is to keep the kitchen waste in the fridge, preferably those dry one like fruit's skins, or you can go get it from the fruit seller. they will be very happy to give it to you for free.

I am so encouraged by all of you,now I got a big tub at home, and everyday I open and let the fragrance permeate the kitchen, which I am told will keep the insects and ants away, and so far so good

hahahhaha, i'm sure yours will be a success too!! Welcome to the group!! :)
