Short answer - not going to happen any time soon. It's not so much the money as the responsibilities of family - my children. Once they are older it may actually happen. Most of the people I know of who have done it are either right out of school or retired from public service (early retired about 50 years old) from teaching, fire dept, etc. I make up for it by doing short trips and reading about it.
