IKEA says “No” to plastic bags!
June 4th, 2009 | by jys |Beginning on 5 June 2009, IKEA will not give out FREE plastic bags anymore. Each plastic bags will be charges for RM 0.10, or RM 0.20 depending on the size. All money collected from these plastic bags will be donated to the Malaysian Nature Society climate change programmes.
So do remember to bring a reusable bag when you shopped at IKEA. Let’s be more environmental-friendly and together(with Ikea), we save the Earth! hehe…
p/s: you can get Ikea’s reusable bag (the big blue bag) at RM 1.90 (previously RM 3.90) only.
