Streamyx customer support.. sooooo GOOD lar…

I wasn’t able to connect to the Internet for like.. a week!! Arggg…. Last Sunday, FL called streamyx to lodge a report. So after talking to them for almost 2 hours, check this, check that, checked everything they asked us to check, they said they will sent their technical ppl to our place to check the port the following day.

So the next day (Monday) when I came home from work, I called them again to check the status. After giving them my report number, the guy replied me..

Miss, you reported this yesterday, so this report is only 1 day and 2 hours. You need to call back after 2 days. You can call back again tomorrow.

What the hell, not enough 2 days cannot call to check for status? Ok fine, since he said he cannot check at all.. I wasn’t at home the following day, so on Wednesday, I called again. This time they said…

Oh, still cannot? then I send my technical guy over tomorrow…

Great! I thought they sent technical guy over on Monday to check the port? Seems like they just hold the report for 2 or 3 days, waiting for the problem to go away by itself!! When i called again and said still got problem, they only decided to send their guy over.. great, great, how great!!

So yesterday (Thursday), FL called streamyx again. And guess what they said to him?

Oh, our deadline for our technical ppl is tomorrow (Friday) 10am, can you call again tomorrow after 10am??

Arggg…&^%$#$#&*#^%^$#^$&#$#..I’m really curious to see what they gonna tell us if the line still not ok today… What do you think?

** Updates

FL called streamyx at 11am (their deadline is at 10am, gave them another hour d..) to check on the status and they told him they need to come over to our house to see what’s wrong. So FL asked them to come tomorrow (Saturday). Guess what they said to FL?

We only can come next weekend cos it’s school holidays now!!

What does school holidays got to do with streamyx? They don’t work on school holidays? Really feels like terminating the streamyx after talking to their support ppl!! Arggggg..GERAM LAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    We all know they’re useless bunch of guys sitting there talking c**k without doing anything constructive.

    Make sure you claim for the downtime – they WILL refund you. They have refunded me about 3 or 4 times so far if they go over 2 or 3 working days.

    they will refund meh? I remembered got one time I asked for refund, called them, they asked me to email, emailed them, no reply at all!!!!

    i don think they have good customer service oso..always ask this and that…very boring to do complaining

    haha i tell you ah…they are just paid to do nothing there. hoping the problems would just go away by itself then they don’t have to leave the comfort of the air-con room lor….

    called to Streamyx customer service few times,everytime pissed me off by asking try to set dns, try ping…although already explained to them my pc, my modem settings no problems…After a long chat then only willing to open the case number for me.We always wondering why Streamyx cant improve their service, -because very few competitors out there, although there are p1, maxis,celcom..why few competitor?-because malaysia is just a small cakewhy is it small cake?-too few pc user…why too few?-because….after all…more answer for more questions…never ending

    well, i’m ok with all the questions but after open the case, please please please make an effort to try to fix it ASAP mar.. see, my internet down for almost 2 weeks liao.. really geram!
