My apple fruit enzyme, ready to be served!!

July 24th, 2009 | by jys |

Finally finally finally, after waiting for 3 weeks, my apple fruit enzyme is ready to be served. Hooray!! My first apple fruit enzyme seems to be a success, no black black stuff, no mold, no bug.. hehe.. It smells really nice when I opened up the cover. I smell a little bit of apple, a little bit of lemon, then a little bit of wine….

P10300973 weeks old apple fruit enzyme

P1030101First I use a big sieve to sieve the big slices of apple and lemon

P1030103After that, I use a small sieve to sieve the apple enzyme again, to get liquid only

P1030104this is what I get from my big bottle of apple fruit enzyme

P1030105I should have use brown sugar instead of dark sugar,
then my enzyme will looks better (lighter in color)

P1030107some said the leftover fruits can be used to make jams (blend it),
or as body exfoliator or as fertilizer for the soil.
I decided to keep it and used it for my next batch of garbage enzyme. :)

According to what I read from magazines/Internet, take one tablespoon of enzyme and mixed with water. You can drink it before or after your meal. How does it taste? Actually it taste exactly like how it smells, a little bit of apple, and lemon … sour, and taste a little bit like wine. I think I did not put enough sugar as it is not sweet at all, a bit more sugar will taste better.

Enzymes are an amazing type of protein that provides energy and reactivates our cells. Drink everyday can help to detox our body and keep us healthy. Oh ya, by the way, my aunt told me her dragon fruit enzyme taste great, I guess dragon fruit taste better than apple fruit enzyme. Luckily I love sour stuff so to me, the taste of apple enzyme still acceptable. i tried adding ribena to my apple enzyme, hehe, and it taste great too! :p

You should really try it out yourself.. The process of making it, till you get the final result. It’s really an experience.

I notice we need to add brown sugar to make fruits enzyme. If we take enzyme over a period will it cause diabetic ?

    Jys:
hmm, from what I heard it will not lar.. and although we put so much sugar in it, the enzyme is not sweet at all.. but of cos, I’m no expert to comment on this, maybe you should do some more research on this..
