C ~ caller
J: Hello
C: Hello, may I speak to Joyce please?
J: Yes, speaking..
C: erm, Joyce Wong?
J: huh? oh, I’m Joyce but not Joyce Wong.
C: Oh..
J: You are?
C: Oh, I’m Wilson…
J: (I do know a few Wilson..) Wilson?
C: I’m Wilson xxx…
J: erm, sorry, I can’t recall any Wilson xxx…
C: I think we probably know each other but …
J: haha.. ya.. anyway, I’m not the Joyce you’re looking for..
C: Ok..
Sometimes common names can really create confusion right? There’s one time I wanted to call a friend named Kok Keong, then when I went through my phone contact list, I realised I have 3 Kok Keong stored, all with the same surname Tan. hahahahahahahaa..
Well well well, luckily my surname is not very common although Joyce is quite a common name.. hehehehehe…

luckily, chinese name not so common…but ppl always pronounce my name wrongly, so tat’s y i chose a common name, Joyce.. hehe.. so that they won’t pronounce it wrongly..:p
