Finally!! My very first garbage enzyme (垃圾酵素) !!
September 16th, 2009 | by jys |I finally made my own garbage enzyme (in july, now already 2 months old.. hehe..) after my aunt showed me how to make it 3 months ago. hehe…I’m living in a condo therefore I don’t really have such a big space to make a big tong of garbage enzyme, I don’t have so much kitchen waste as well.. That is why I decided to use the 5 liter mineral water bottle to make my garbage enzyme.
5 liter mineral water bottle, fill it up with 3 liter of water
The garbage enzyme formula is 1kg Black/Brown Sugar : 3Kg Kitchen waste: 10 litre of water. For my case, I use about 3 liter water, so the rest I agak agak lor..

lemon and dragon fruit’s skin.
The lemon & dragon fruit skin are from the apple and dragon fruit enzyme. I hope my garbage enzyme smells like lemon so I keep more lemon skin than dragon fruit skin. hehe…
pour the black sugar into the water, close the cap and shake for a while to let the sugar melt in the water
put in all the lemon + dragon fruit skin into the bottle and shake shake shake…
I think I put too much skin into the bottle, too greedy.. so on and off I have to go shake the bottle to make sure all skin soaked in the water. I did open up the cap to release the gas from time to time and it wasn’t smelly at all, the garbage enzyme really smells like lemon.. fresh and nice smell!!
My garbage enzyme is now 2 months old, another month more I can see the result!! Excited!! Have you tried making your own garbage enzyme at home?

I’ve done the enzyme with vege. It’s very useful to clean the stuff at home. Especially kitchen…after you cooking!

I know some who use fresh fruit to make the enzyme and consume it but only 2 tablespoon per day

oo, that one is fruit enzyme, different from garbage enzyme, garbage enzyme cannot be consumed one.. hehe…

is it safe to consume even it’s fruit enzyme? since it’s home made and have no quality and safety control, we might not able to guarantee that it’s safe to drink, right?

hmm, why not? you know very clearly what you used since it’s home made, i think it’s pretty safe, safer than those out there which you’re not sure what kind of ingredients they used..right?
