October 6th, 2009 | by jys |Remember my very first garbage enzyme (垃圾酵素)? It’s already 3 months old!! Time flies right?? It’s time to see the result!! Excited!!
I was a bit afraid that it would be a bit smelly since it’s like 3 months old but when I opened the cap, all I smell is lemon!! Oh my, it smells nice!! Lemon Air freshener? hahahahahaa..
tah-dah!!!!
There are altogether 7 bottles (500 ml), more than what I expected.. not bad not bad..I guess, my second, third and fourth garbage enzyme will also used a lot a lot of lemon too. What about you? Have you started making garbage enzyme yet?

After juicing carrots I had used the left over dregs plus pineapple peel and orange peel to prepare the garbage enzyme. However, the color of my enzyme is more orange than brown. It’s 4 months. I used the liquid to fertilize my plants; hope it will not kill them.
Jys:
use to fertilize plants? really? I heard ppl used the remaining to fertilize plants, but not the liquid. hehe.. The liquid is very useful in cleaning oily stuff, do try it out!!

Hi, I’m very interesting for making garbage enzyme? May I know where to find the brown sugar? I mean in singapore?
Jys:
brown sugar ar? u can get it easily at any supermarket or mini market. normally they put it together at the sugar section…

Thank you very much… I’ll try it ASAP? Normally where do u use it? I mean the purpose… Sorry for keep on asking you some question.
Jys:
Oh, for me ar? i found it VERY GOOD when used to clean oily stuff such as the stove area, the hood cover and etc. Normally after cooking i will spray some garbage enzyme, a few spray will do, on the stove, and just wipe it with wet cloth. Then no more oily stain..
some ppl used it to mop the floor, wash the toilet and etc.. but so far i still think the best is to use it to clean oily stuff.. you should really try it!! very good!!
try to use more lemon skin as it’ll smell nicer..

How long we can keep the garbage enzyme?
Jys:
you mean the making process? or finished enzyme? For making, must keep at least 3 months, some ppl keep up to 6 months also got.. the finished enzyme, no expiry date, can keep it for a long long time.. but if you start using it to clean ur kitchen, very fast finish one…

Can I check with you any special temperature for garbage enzyme when the said enzyme in processing?
Jys:
try to put under shady/not so hot places lar… definitely not direct under the hot sun.. as for the finished enzyme, can just store in bottles then keep in the cupboard…
