Dragon Fruit, Papaya and Longan Fruit Enzyme
October 14th, 2009 | by jys |Enzyme again? Well yes!! After the first dragon fruit enzyme that I made for my aunt, my aunt got addicted to enzyme and she made lot’s of lot’s of different kinds of fruits enzymes. When I went back hometown two weeks ago, she showed me the fruit enzymes that she made and I’m so impressed! WOW!! Let me show you…

Dragon Fruit + Lemon Enzyme (龙珠果)
(sorry, hand a bit shaky when took the pic with my hp.. hehe..)
dragon fruit enzyme prevent aging..

These are a bit different from the one that I made for my aunt last time. The formula is still the same, (one layer of fruits, one layer of lemon, one layer of sugar..) just that my aunt cut the fruits into very small pieces. Why cut into small pieces? Cos we’re not going to just drink the liquid but we will eat the fruits as well. Then we no need to sieve, no need to think what to do with the leftovers fruits..Good also hor.. we just swallow everything into our stomach.. hehe..

Papaya + Lemon Enzyme (木瓜)
good for the stomach..

Longan + Beetroot + Lemon
this is new!! got combination some more..
good for the liver and lung leh..

Besides these, she also made pineapple + lemon enzyme, and I love the taste of the pineapple enzyme. Nice!! sweet and sour.. The pineapple enzyme is good to reduce cholesterol, one to two table spoon every night. The dragon fruit and longan one I have not taste yet, so no comment.. as for the papaya + lemon.. well..

this is the papaya..
if you to make this, you have to buy those really green papaya..
if you buy those ripe papaya, your enzyme will end up very ‘lam bek bek’, very geli..
hehe it won’ t be one piece one piece like this..

and the lemon..
how it taste? SOUR!! VERY SOUR!! hehee…
I still prefer the pineapple one…

What are these fruit enzymes used for? My mom makes preserved lemons as a cold remedy. Your fruits enzymes look really good but unfortunately where I live, we don’t have fresh tropical fruits that dragon fruits.
