Summary of my 6D5N Taiwan Trip
October 26th, 2009 | by jys |It took me 4 months to finish blogging about my 5D4N HK/Macau Trip and I thought I dragged too long. When I finally finished blogging about my 6D5N Taiwan trip, I realized I finished my HK trip pretty fast, ONLY 4 months. hahahaha.. my Taiwan trip? took me 10 months to finish it!! hahahahahahaa….
Anyway, the most important thing is that I finally finished writing it, and not about how long I took to finish it, right? hehe, ok let’s get back to my Taiwan trip, hmm, first of all, I’m quite happy with my flight with EVA Airways (長榮航空公司), well, maybe because I compared EVA Airway with Air Asia, hehe that’s y I feel it is nice and comfy.. I’m also quite satisfied with Taipei CityInn Hotel (新驛旅店), the staff there are so polite and helpful. Definitely will stay at that hotel again if I ever visit Taipei again.
We’ve visited quite a lot of places there, museums, night markets, popular tourists spots and my favorite goes to Yeliu Geopark (野柳地质公园)!! I don’t know why, I just LOVE that place. It makes me feel very relax and I really enjoy my visit there..Yeliu is definitely a MUST VISIT place if you ever travel to Taiwan. hehe..
As for the food, I love the A Zhong Mi Sua (阿宗麵線) and Lu Rou Fan (胡须张鲁肉饭). yummy yummy.. miss these two sooo much!!!!!
Taiwan ppl are very friendly and helpful, especially those gals voice (regardless young or old!!), sooo sweet…….Unlike HK, you can really relax and enjoy your trip, you don’t need to rush rush rush like in HK, very hectic lifestyle. Everything is perfect except, things in Taiwan are quite expensive, didn’t get to shop much also. hehehe..
I think I will definitely visit Taiwan again.. not this year.. maybe not next year, maybe next next year? who knows? hehehe…

i never get to finish my taiwan trip blog(10 months already), shoot over 10k of photoes in 6 days too. but i manage to stay at my sis’ godfather’s “piak shu” summer house in nearby nanjhuang area. and lucky for me, when we visited the taipei101, the outdoor observatory is open, and i must tell u, IT IS GREAT.
my opinion, try join a tour for korea(cheaper then) or japan (expensive)… they give u a marvelous experince too. or maybe try kaoshiong this time… taiwan is good for backpack, and i am planning to go taiwan again this coming CNY with my gf(bring her there this time) and look for frog(http://eyetaiwan.frogfree.com/) enjoy

hi , In which month did you take this trip to Taipei? coz you mentioned that there is not much to shop while you are are wufenpu.
Do you think staying 2 nights at Jiufen is too long? we are only interested in the teahouse, mountain view, old streets.

I was there in December, it’s winter time.. hahah, clothes all not ngam. 2 nights in jiufen? well, jiufen is kind of small, but have great views. Hmm, I think I night should be enuf, else scared too boring there.. hehe..

Hi, finished reading all your Taiwan trip. Very nice of you to post so much details. Hope you can continue to blog about your travelling tales for travel addicts like me. I love Taiwan. Been to Taiwan 4 yrs ago for 8 days & am going again time this June 10 days. But do you believe? Taipei itself &its surrounding has so many interesting & beautiful places (and the farms) that for both trips, I am still stuck at Taipe, the furthest I went was Miaoli to a farm. Think will have to go another 1 – 2 times for other parts of Taiwan.

wow, 10 days? u know what? I miss taiwan too, miss the food very much!! and also i only went to taipei and not other places like gao shiong and etc. Hope got chance to go in the near future..
