Before pay, everything YES YES YES, after paid, everything NO NO NO!!!
January 8th, 2010 | by jys |Sometimes I really hate the way ppl do business, before you pay, they promised you EVERYTHING, but after you paid the deposit/full payment, everything that they previously promised, all becomes water, GONE!!
Last Saturday, FL went to change his car cushion. So this lady boss seems very nice, and the price seems reasonable. So when we asked her when can get it done, she said should be ready by Wednesday (which is two days ago) and only need half an hour for the installation, so can go over after work (which is 6pm). She also said that she will give FL a call on Wednesday to confirm what time he will go over for the installation. So happily we paid deposit, which is half of the full payment.
On Wednesday, from morning till afternoon, nobody called. Before finish work (evening d..), FL decided to call before he go over and guess what the lady boss told him? “Oh, cannot lar today, not yet ready, tomorrow lar.. tomorrow sure ok.” So fine… tomorrow….
Then the next day (Thursday, which is yesterday) he received a call from the lady boss in the afternoon. He thought she called to confirm the time of the installation BUT it’s not. She called to tell him that it’s NOT ready yet, and need to postpone to the next day, which is Friday (today)! FINE!!
Guess what? Today she called and said it’s finally ready, but told FL she won’t be able to wait for him to come after 6pm because they’re closing at 7pm. She asked him to come tomorrow morning, and it’s no longer half an hour finish installation, it’ll take less than 3 hours.
Where are all the promises? Ready by Wednesday lar.. Ready by Thursday lar, will wait for you to come install after work lar, this and that lar.. If she tell us the truth in the first place, we will still let her do the cushion what, why need to lie and lie and give all these empty promises? Now I’m not sure she can really get it done before noon tomorrow. She might promised ready by noon but end up let us wait till afternoon. Who knows right?
Arggg.. just feel very geram with these ppl… Now all the plans we had earlier need to change becos of that!!!

agreed, some ppl are like this. Never fulfill their promises!

Sometimes being a little bit stern towards ppl like these does help. Also, one should know their consumer rights so that way should you take it up with the officials, u got a better case.

well, i guess most ppl including myself are afraid of the hassle of going through the complaints and etc, if it’s not too much, we all will just swallow.. unless it’s really unbearable.

normally le….i won’t pay so much deposit one lor. if pay like RM50 or maximum RM100 enough de…coz if u decided not to go with it, forfeit the deposit also not so heartache.
