Changing Field….
July 7th, 2010 | by jys |If your job is to get sales but you are having a hard time finding business for the company even though you tried really hard, do you think you are suitable in this field? Or if your job requires you to communicate with people but you are not really a very good talker, or the minute you open your mouth you already ‘tak zhui’ ppl, then shouldn’t you think twice whether to change field or not?
I do understand that we cannot give up things easily, we have to give ourselves some time to “try” it out, or to learn to cope, but for how long? 1 year? 2 years? If you are not able to do what you’re currently doing after so many years, then maybe it’s really time for a change.
Some people said, change is no good. I do not agree with that. I remembered one of my ex colleague, she was a designer and she didn’t really perform well. After a year she quit and changed to do sales. Guess what, she did really well in sales!! The last time I heard, she was one of the top sales personnel in her company!! Therefore, if you did not do well in this field doesn’t mean you can’t do well in others!
Why am I starting talking about all this? Well, I’ve seen people who didn’t do well in their field BUT they think they are doing pretty good. I don’t know what makes them think that… The worst is, when they can’t handle their job well, they started to point fingers to others, blaming other ppl… Arggg.. I just hate these ppl…
