So he asked me did I call to Bank Rakyat to increase my master gold card credit limit. Then I said NO, cos I don’t even have Bank Rakyat’s credit card. Then he gave me my FULL NAME and IC No., asked me to confirm whether these information is correct or not. He got my name and IC correct, then he further gave me the billing address, which is in Sibu. Then I said address is incorrect. So he said he suspected fraud and asked me to hold on while he blocked my card (can hear typing sound some more, and background got a lot of malay talking.. hehehe….)

He told me my credit limit is RM 10K, and now already owed RM 9300, which I swiped it in casino in Sentosa, Singapore in June. So I kept saying No and No and finally he said it’s better for me to lodge a report to Bank Negara to play safe. And these are the information he gave me, asked me to write it down so that I can use it to report to Bank Negara.

Before he put down the phone, again he emphasized, asked me to lodge a report to Bank Negara. So I said ok and ended our conversation. Although I did suspect something is wrong, but still I think it’s better for me to really call to Bank Negara to double confirm. Of cos, I will not use the no given by them! I googled the no from the Internet and found Bank Negara’s no, which of cos is a totally different no lar. Then before I called, I googled the billing address too, and guess what? I found a blog post by googling the billing address!! Apparently this blog owner, Big Cow also received the phone call from them and decided to post in on the blog to share with ppl. Good job!! So after reading the blog post, I knew that I don’t even need to call to the real Bank Negara to confirm d lar… These ppl also very lazy lar, want to con ppl, used a different set of information lar.. billing address, bank, credit limit, all used back the same one, simply google also can find lar.. right?

So if you ever received such phone call, do not panicked. Just remember not to give out any of your information, and write down whatever they provided to you. Do not call back by using the phone no given by them, with the Internet, you can easily find any phone no you want, so google yourself!!

BEWARE!! con ppl are everywhere!! hehe..

Ok, enough on the nonsense.. back to the topic.. Recently a friend told me he just got project bonus, he said it’s not a lot lar.. few k like that lar.. I was like.. wah, few K also not a lot? u want 100K meh? Anyway, he was really busy with the project for the past few months, but when he got the project bonus, he found his work is being appreciated, and all the complaints are gone.

I guess just like us gua, when we were rushing a project, we might complaint this and that lar, not enough time lar, always OT lar, but if company gives project bonus like what my friend’s comp did, I’m sure there will be no complaints and everyone is happy to work overtime or rushed the project with a smile.. Don’t you think so?

Really ‘tong yan hmm tong meng’ lar.. (同人不同命) ~sigh.. what can i say?

• High pay but less responsibilities
• Can go back on time, 9am – 6pm
• Good bonus and increment, 2 months and above for bonus, 10% and above for increment
• Allowance (transportation even though no need to travel, meal allowance)

Ya ya, I know. We all are a bunch of ppl dreaming in day time. Where got such job which gives you high pay but not much responsibilities? Spiderman, the movie also got this saying lar, “With great power, comes great responsibility”. Sames goes with “With great money, comes great responsibility” hehe…

As for the second option, yes, some job does allow their staff to go back on time, mostly foreign companies lar. I remembered a friend once told me, his gwai lo boss actually chased him away at 6pm sharp. How nice lar, but I nv have the chance to have bosses like this before.. too bad…

As for the option 3 & 4, some of you might have this already lar.. Few times bonuses a year, and increment cin cin cai cai also RM 1K or so.. how nice.. Me? got bonus already can curi curi laugh (偷偷的笑) and give you 10% increment you already can kill chicken and thank god d la.. (劏雞還神) allowance? slowly wait lar… wuahahahhahahaa…

Sometimes I tell myself, we as an employee, need to be satisfied, cannot ask for too much, but then when I see ppl around me getting such great benefits and salary, I will tell myself again, maybe it’s time for a change? I also deserve such good benefits also mar.. hehe..

FL got a letter from income tax 2 weeks ago saying that his refund is in progress but I did not get any. We submitted the tax on the very same day, why he got the letter but not me?

A friend of mine told me she got refunded 2 yrs back but she did not get any refund last year (she supposed to get back few hundred dollars), I hope this will not happened to me.

Have you received any letter from income tax or have you got your cheque from income tax? Should I call to ask?

C had just rented out his studio apartment and he went to collect the deposit from his tenant few days ago, around 3pm. He received RM 3K cash from the tenant and he placed it in two separate partitions in his pouch, front, RM 1200, back, RM 1800.

At first he wanted to go pay the maintenance fees with the money but then the management office was already closed. So he decided to go home. While he was walking towards his car (parked outside the condo), a wira stopped beside him.

There were 3 ppl in the car, 2 guys dressed like middle east ppl, and 1 gal (foreigner). Anyway, that 2 guys speak to C in Mandarin.

So here’s how their conversation like..

C: FL’s friend, M1: Middle east ppl 1, M2: Middle east ppl 2

M1: Hi, is there any nice food around here?
C: Hmm, not really… (continue walking to his car)
M1: Oh, does restaurants here receive singapore dollar?
C: No, only take RM.
M1: How does RM looks like?
C: (took out his pouch and show them a RM 50 note) this is RM 50.

Suddenly, M2 walks down from the car..and wanted to grab the RM 50 note from C. As for C, he was holding the RM 50 in one hand, and another hand pressing hard on his pouch. C did not let M2 touch his money. Then M1 continue to speak…

M1: oh, what about this? (showing C a 1000 Baht), restaurants here take this?
C: (a quick glance at the 1000 Baht, at the same time, both hands still grabbing hard on his money) No.
M1: Ok then. Thanks.

M2 walked back to the car and then they left. After they left, C realized RM 600 from his pouch was gone!! These ppl were FAST! How did M2 took his money from his pouch right in front of  his eyes?

When I heard the story, I asked FL, why C go show him RM 50? He should have just ignore them, right? Anyway, these ppl really good in these tricks, so dun ever show ppl your money!! And guess what, we can’t be good ppl nowadays, so, the best is don’t even talk to strangers!!

~sigh, what kind of world we’re in now? Full of con cases…

Actually 99% confirmed no bonus d, but then I still blindly hoping for the 1% miracle. hehehe…..I want to see it with my own eyes then only I will accept the fact. hehe…stubborn rite? Reality is always cruel, so just let me dream…. dream for half yr bonus, one year bonus, two years bonus….

Since I’m dreaming already, please just drop one million cash from the sky, drop it in front of my house …hahahaha……

It was on the front page of the newspaper, at first glance I thought thousands of injured ppl lying there on the road, waiting to be treated but when I read further, I realized I was wrong! These were not injured ppl, they were all earthquake victims waiting to be buried, all of them, lying there on the road. It was so sad and so heart breaking when I looked at those pictures.

What happened to our world? So many earthquakes, snow storm, and the other disasters, it’s like one after another. ~sigh.. There’s really nothing much that I can do but to contribute a little bit to the Haiti earthquake victims.

Let’s hope tomorrow will be a better day.

Luckily I stepped on my brake hard… else my car gonna go kissed the Mazda Lancer.. then I really not eye see.. Anyway, I went down to take a look at my car. The bottom lights broken, car plate broken, scratches all over the bumper, exhaust pipe also broken. The guy that bang my car is a college student, rushing to college. He looked so sleepy when he got down the car, my guess.. he’s probably taking a short nap while driving.

Anyway, he’s quite polite, kept saying sorry to me. I didn’t scold him also lar, it already happened, scold him also useless. I asked him whether he knows any workshop so that I can send my car over to fix and the bill will sent to him. He said ok and agreed to meet in the evening. So I took down his name, IC no, car plate no and phone no.

So I left without taking a single cent from him. My friends asked me, you not afraid later he dowan to answer your call? Seriously? I nv thought of that, hehe… Anyway, it did not happen to me lar, we met yesterday at the workshop he suggested, and fix whatever which is damaged. and the total? RM 500! Wow!! A light kiss also need RM 500!! They will replaced both bottom lights, replace the car plate, fix the exhaust pipe and repaint the bumper.

I dropped off my car this morning to the workshop and FL sent me to work. On our way to work, we almost met another accident. We saw a flying car at the opposite lane, flying towards our direction!! Luckily the car hit the lamp post, else, the car will definitely hit ours… ~sigh… so bad luck lar me…

When I heard that, I was like, huh? got such thing ar? We both laughed and then the funny thing was we both decided to try. wuahahahahaha.. so FL started to speed and we definitely pass 160. But of cos, once we passed 160, we slowed down.. hehe… that guy never said need to maintain 160km/h mar, he just said once the car passed 160km/h, then it’s good enough already..

so how’s the result? seriously? I don’t know yet, can’t see any difference. Maybe we just kena tipu. wuahahahaha.. but at least we try lar.. now pray hard that we did not kena saman. :p

aih.. we really ‘loh fu lei san’ right? hehe…

It seems like every 2 months, they will go for a trip, either a short trip to countries nearby, or to some european countries for like a week or two. The first question that popped into my mind.. don’t they need to work? Ok, let’s not talked about the money they need to spend, probably you’ll say they are from a rich family or so. But from their posts, I know both of them are working, so how come they managed to take leave so frequent without getting fired?

Imagined me taking 10 days leave every 2 months, I think my manager will shout at me, or worst, fire me! Not only my manager, I think my family will shout at me also.. My brother always ngee ngee ngam ngam whenever I tell him I’m going to travel. He thinks I’m wasting my time and MY MONEY (see the MY MONEY in capital letters, I’m spending MY OWN MONEY and yet he still unhappy..).. see..unsupportive family members..

Apart from all the questions, I actually VERY ENVY them, yes, both of them. Both of them have good bosses (i assumed lar..), both of them can take leaves anytime they want, both of them got supportive family and both of them likes to travel. That is just sooo great!!

I just hope I can be like them one day.. travel and travel and travel some more.. without worrying about $$$$!! :p
