Today is the last day of our HK/Macau trip. We will fly back to Malaysia from the Macau Airport at 5pm+. After breakfast (which is already 10am), we packed our bags and check out from the hotel. Bye bye Hong Kong, I will definitely miss all the Espirit, G2000, hehe, and the food!!

We still hope to visit Macau a bit therefore after we check out we took the Turbojet back to Macau. We only managed to get the 11:35am ticket which costs us HKD 134 each.

Bye bye Hong Kong, I will be back!!

As you can see, the turbojet is quite new if compared to the New Ferry Macau. It is clean too. As soon as we were in our seats, the staff start asking what we want to eat/drink, of cos have to pay lar.. Oh ya, turbojet is faster than New Ferry Macau too!

After an hour or so, we reached Macau! Since our flight is at 5pm+, we don’t have much time left (it’s already 12pm+). But before we can start visiting Macau, we have to find a place to keep our luggage!! We can’t carry this 10kg++ luggage with us! We managed to find a place to leave our luggage at first floor, with the price of HKD 30 per luggage.

After get rid of our luggage, we took the free shuttle bus to Grand Lisboa (新葡京). There are a lot of free shuttle bus that gives you free ride too all casinos. When we reached there, all of us were given a scratch and win coupon. We scratched and we did not win anything, hehe, so we just walked out of the casino.

After that, based on the map, we walked about 15 minutes and we reached here.

Santa Casa da Misericórdia

We tried the famous Macau Famous Double Skin Milk!! (澳门双皮奶) and the Macau Portuguese EggTart （澳门葡挞） here. Erm, in my opinion, both taste so so only lar. :p

We continue to walk along this street. There a lot of people along the street, you can shop for clothes, souvenirs, biscuits and etc here.

At the end of the street, you will see the famous ruins of St. Paul’s Mount Fortress (大三巴牌坊). Well, ppl say if you nv see this, that means you nv been to Macau before. hehe.. So that is why I’m here, just to take a picture of this!!

Oh ya, if you see this, please DON’T buy this. the pork chop bun (HKD 15 each) is as hard as stone. Both me and FL can’t even finished one, I took a bite and FL finish half, and we throw the other half. I heard pock chop bun is famous in Macau, you have to try, but make sure do not buy from this stall, else you’ll regret.

It’s already almost 2pm when we finished visit these places. We need to reach the airport by 3pm+ so we decided to take bus to the Macau Ferry Terminal. I did not have a good impression in Macau because the ppl there are quite rude. The bus driver, the person that we asked for direction… It seems that HK ppl are more friendly and nice..

Anyway, we only spend 2 hours in Macau, so can’t make much judgement also.. I miss Hong Kong, but not Macau. hehe.. and if I have the chance to go HK again, I think i will skip Macau.

Bye bye HK and Macau….

The weather was so hot and we decided take a bath after we settle down (unpack a little bit ) at our hotel room. Where are we heading to after this? LUNCH of cos!! We had our breakfast at 5am and it’s almost 4pm now!! Super hungry!!

We decided to walk around to see what to eat. After a few minutes, we realized we were at the Tung Choi Street/ Ladies Street already!! See..

It’s very crowded although it’s 4pm+. I didn’t really shop as I’m too busy looking for food. Finally after passing by several ‘Char Chan Teng’, we decided to just try this char chan teng, Eat to New（新之食）. The food was SUPERB. I wanted to go back to makan again before I came back but too bad, no time!! I really miss the mee, super super nice. The portion is really very big but I can finish it by myself. wuahahahaha… so tasty!!

After lunch, only I started to look at what they sell at the Ladies Street. The ladies street is actually quite long, I think it’s approx 3 streets long. Basically, the Ladies Street is very much like our KL ‘Chee Cheong Gai’. There are bags lar, clothes lar, t-shirts lar, pirated watches lar, and you got to negotiate with them. Beware, don’t negotiate long long but didn’t buy, later kena pukul!! If you do not have the intention to buy, DO NOT negotiate!! else you will kena. hehe.. We wanted to buy mahjong but couldn’t get a good price, so basically I didn’t buy anything from there.

Besides these stalls, there are plenty of shops around, Bossini lar, G2000 lar, Giordano lar.. We didn’t really have time to shop as we plan to go to the Star Avenue at 6pm. We walk here and there, from the ladies street to Mongkok (Mongkok really a good place to SHOP!!) Then we saw the famous Hui Lau Shan (许留山) @ Mongkok, Kowloon, so famous, sure have to try lar. Their mango sai mai lo is really NICE, no wonder soooo famous!! But service not too good.. cashier very rude!!

After we finished the dessert, we saw this..

'Yao Za Gwai'

I really wanted to try but I’m really VERY FULL!! HKD 7 each which means about RM 3.50 one!! Quite expensive also hor.. but the again, looks very nice lar.. We spent about 2 hours @ ladies street/mongkok, including eating our lunch and dessert, then we headed to the Star Avenue.

Carrying a BIG luggage (weight 15 kg) and travel by bus is really not an easy thing to do. Luckily it was not on peak hours and there was not many people, else really don’t know how to move around on that small bus. It only took us about 10 to 15 minutes to reach the Macau Ferry Terminal from the Airport. The Macau Ferry Terminal is a bit like our Puduraya bus station, except it’s much more cleaner and it has air conditioner (toilet still yucky!!).

First Ferry Macau (新渡轮澳门)

We are heading to Kowloon that is why we choose the New Ferry Macau. Others are all heading to the HK Island. We were there about 11:10am and the next ferry is at 12pm. No choice lar.. have to wait…

After we collected our luggage, we headed out. We plan to take bus to the Macau Ferry Terminal (港澳码头) but we have no small change. All we have is HKD 100 and HKD 1000 notes, money changer very bad lar, they don’t give you small notes one.. So how to take bus like that? We decided to go buy something and get some small change.

Macau airport is kind of small, there’s no shops or restaurants at all. When I asked the customer service there, they said only departure hall have shops and restaurants, other than that, there’s no shops at all. Then how to get small change? The customer service told us we can exchange our money to get some small change at the bank just in front one of the exit. ~phew..

Besides that, the customer service also told us to take the Bus AP1 to go the the Macau Ferry Terminal (港澳码头).

Bus AP1 to get to the Macau Ferry Terminal, HKD 3.30 per person

We only waited for about 10 minutes before the bus AP1 arrived. We prepared HKD 7 for two person but the bus driver told us we need to pay another HKD 3 for our luggage. So altogether HKD 10 for 2 person + the luggage.

On the way to Macau Ferry Terminal

We are almost there..

It only took us about 10 or 15 minutes to reach the Macau Ferry Terminal from the Macau International Airport. If you take a cab, you probably need to pay HKD 40 to 50 but by bus only HKD 10!! Of cos, it’s not easy to carry the big big luggage to the bus.. well, sure have to sacrifice a bit lor if want to save money, right.. hehe..

Finally, after waiting for so many months (I booked the ticket in january), it’s time to fly!! Did some research, booked the hotel, packed the luggage and here we go!! Our flight is on 5:50am and we decided to drive to LCCT instead of taking the cab. 5 days parked at LCCT? LCCT parking rate = RM 36.50 per day, so it’s about the same price for taking cab to and fro (cab charged more after midnight).

We started our journey at about 4am and reached there around 4:45am (paid toll RM 8.40). After checked in our luggage (booked before 21st April no need to pay for the baggage fees), we had our breakfast at McD. After breakfast, we went through the security check door and we were all required to take out our belt!! Oh yes, those with belt need to remove on the spot (so ugly!!). Since when they became so strict?? A lady was asked to take out her shoes some more!!

Our plane arrived on time and we were already flying before 5:50am!!

When I was in the plane, the air stewardess kept repeating the announcement (the one asked us to switch off our hand phones, no smoking and etc) in english, mandarin and cantonese. Normally they will only repeat it for 2 or 3 times, but this time, they repeat for almost 10 times!

When I looked around, suddenly I understand why they repeat it for so many times. There are a lot of passengers from China on the plane, and you know Chinese (especially those from china, no offense but it’s true!!), they don’t follow rules, you tell them not to, they will do it. And guess what? Someone smoke in the toilet!! I smell smoke and I saw the air stewardess rushed to the toilet and a chinese guy came out from the toilet ~sigh.. chinese chinese…

During our flight, the air current (气流, is it called air current?) was quite unstable. There’s even one time the plane dropped and I was so scared, the lady which sat at the other side of the plane spilled her coffee all over herself. She pressed the button to ask for the air stewardess but nobody came over to help (the plane still shaking) and I handed her some tissue paper to wipe herself and the plane. thank god everything is fine after that..

We were flying low when we almost arrived at Macau and we saw this beautiful island

At about 9:45am, we arrived at Macau. A brand new day at a brand new country.

hey, hey.. I’m BACK from Hong Kong!! Did you guys miss me? hehe.. Time flies, 5 days just gone like that, all money gone liao.. hehe.. So how’s my trip? It was GREAT!! The food was great, shopping was great (and i over spent A LOT!! expected lar.. :p), hotel was damn nice, places visited was interesting..

of cos, not everything is perfect lar.. some of the places we visited was not worth to go, waste time and money, the weather there was damn hot, 38 celcius!! then there was a lot of tourists from china!! and I tell you, they don’t follow rules one, you tell them don’t smoke, they WILL smoke, you tell them to queue? They jump queue.. and they talked SOOOOOO loud and it’s soooo annoying!!! Everywhere is full of ppl, waste a lot of time queueing up and I’ve encountered the HK thunder storm and super strong wind!! Can you imagine, that wind can almost blow me away!! no joke!!

oh ya, i saw an actor and a singer too.. actor, i don’t really know what’s he’s name, he’s always acting as the bad guy, as a ‘care leh feh’ but ‘care leh feh’ also drive benz one ler.. as for the singer, she’s Vincy ‘weng yee’, saw her in front of a shopping mall, didn’t manage to take her pictures lar, cos she was surrounded by her fans (actually these fans are more like FAKE fans.. :p)

Well, i will post EVERYTHING in details later, so wait for my posts.. stay tune…. a lot to unpack.. :p
