Irene had been trying to get pregnant for the last few months. Today, she walked into the office and shared the great news with us, she’s pregnant!! Oh my, we were all so happy for her.

Immediately after she went back to her cubicle, we gathered and discussed what to get for her baby. Ya, I know it’s a bit early to discuss but who cares? After some discussion, we all decided to get her a Baby Bedding Set.
Since this is her 1st child, she needs to buy all the baby stuff, I think the bedding set will be useful to her.

Weird birthday present

Susan told me she wanted to buy something useful for her brother. Therefore, she asked him what he wants or need for his birthday present. After some serious thought, the brother told him to get her bike racks.

He would love to carry his bike with him when he travel in his car. Well, it is not a common thing we buy as a birthday present but who cares? The most important thing is the brother loves it! Right?

Internet ~ best place to get the things you want

I always tell David that we can find so many things on the Internet nowadays. From food, to clothes, household items and even industrial items. Whenever he heard I said Internet, he will just smile to me and walked off.

Today, out of surprise, he asked me where to find shims. I do not know what is that but after googled, I told him that Reid Supply Company has the market covered.

I am pretty sure he agreed with me now, on the Internet.

Starbucks Charm!

I love coffee since … erm.. ooops.. I can’t even remember since when!! haha, I just love coffee!! Started with nescafe, and then when I started to work, I was addicted to Coffee Bean’s Ice Blended! I tried Starbucks before but their ice blended was just too sweet for me. That is why I seldom visit Starbucks.

Last yr, me and another colleague treated a colleague on his farewell dinner. He treated us starbucks on the other hand to say thanks to us. I remembered I ordered a hot drink, and ever since, I was addicted to starbucks, until NOW!!

I purposely applied the AMEX card just because there was a buy 1 free 1 promotion that time in Starbucks. Then when starbucks launched their starbucks card, immediately I purchased one.

Yesterday on FB, I saw starbucks giving out Starbucks charm when we reload Rm 120 on our starbucks card. Oh, that charm looks nice!! I think I’m gonna get it too!!

Argg…so addicted to starbucks…

Compost bin in the garden

When I saw this compost bin on the Internet, I thought of David’s new house. I remember he told me his new house will have a really big garden.

One of the reason he chose the house is because the garden is big and his mom loves gardening. I think I am gonna buy this compost bin for him to put in the garden. Think his mum will find it useful!

“What to eat today?” It has been a habit to ask each other this question during lunch everyday. You must be wondering, not much food choices around my working place?

Well, frankly speaking, there are quite a lot of choices around my working place, fast food, chinese coffee shops, malay stalls selling malay food, indian food, arab food, mamak, kopitiams and etc etc. If there are a lot of choices, why are we still complaining everyday? Hahaha, you asked me? I asked who?

Did you and your colleagues ask each other the same question too?

Whenever Sandy is free, she will sit in front of her laptop and start surfing the net, checking out where else to get cheap jewelry online although she had already bookmarked plenty of online jewelry shops.

Her passion for collecting jewelry had never reduced and one of her biggest dream is to open a small jewelry shop one day.

I seriously hope she can fulfill her dream in the near future.

I am researching for my trip to Bangkok in June. When my friend know that I am going to Bangkok, they asked, you are going to Bangkok again? How many times have you been to Bangkok?

haha, I do love Bangkok, it’s a shopping paradise! I think if I’m not mistaken, this coming visit is my 4th visit to Bangkok. If you asked me, I am pretty sure there will definitely be the next, next, next and next visit to Bangkok.

Have you been to Bangkok? If not, I think you really should plan a trip there. Trust me, you will love the country!

Oh my.. Stains…

When we back from lunch, I noticed there is a big stain on Sandy’s skirt. Oh my god! I remembered she will be having a meeting with the management. It will not be that good if they saw the stain.

When I told Sandy about it, she told me, luckily they will be having a teleconferencing using the teleconferencing service instead of having a face to face meeting. Else she probably will need to go buy a new skirt.

Good to know that!

Research during lunch time

When I asked David for lunch just now, he told me he is not free and asked me to buy him something on my way back. I bought a sandwich for him and when I took the sandwich to his cubicle, I saw him busy researching on Hydraulic Power Units.

Why he need to research that? He told me his father’s factory need this, therefore he is using his lunch time to do some research for his dad.
