There are altogether 7 bottles (500 ml), more than what I expected.. not bad not bad..I guess, my second, third and fourth garbage enzyme will also used a lot a lot of lemon too. What about you? Have you started making garbage enzyme yet?

The garbage enzyme formula is 1kg Black/Brown Sugar : 3Kg Kitchen waste:  10 litre of water. For my case, I use about 3 liter water, so the rest I agak agak lor..

lemon and dragon fruit’s skin.

The lemon & dragon fruit skin are from the apple and dragon fruit enzyme. I hope my garbage enzyme smells like lemon so I keep more lemon skin than dragon fruit skin. hehe…

put in all the lemon + dragon fruit skin into the bottle and shake shake shake…

I think I put too much skin into the bottle, too greedy.. so on and off I have to go shake the bottle to make sure all skin soaked in the water. I did open up the cap to release the gas from time to time and it wasn’t smelly at all, the garbage enzyme really smells like lemon.. fresh and nice smell!!

My garbage enzyme is now 2 months old, another month more I can see the result!! Excited!! Have you tried making your own garbage enzyme at home?

Last weekend when I went back to my hometown, I told my aunt about this fruit enzyme. She had been making a lot of garbage enzyme （垃圾酵素） but she never heard about fruit enzyme. She was so excited after I told her and immediately she brought me to a shop where I can find all sorts of glass bottles.

Actually I wanted to get a 2 litre glass bottles but that shop only sells big glass bottles. So we ended up getting ourselves two 5 litre glass bottles. hehe… I read a lot of different versions on how to make fruit enzyme, some do it with one fruit, some mix fruits with lemon, some said with skin, some said without skin and etc. Since I love lemon so much, I decided to try the fruits with lemon version, without skin.

Formula:
Fruits (can be any fruit, dragon fruit, apple, orange, grapes, pineapple, mango..)
Lemon
brown/black sugar/Honey

Instructions:

1. Wash the fruits and leave it dry. Make sure everything is dry.
2. Remove the skin, cut the fruit into slices.
3. First layer add lemon, followed by sugar, then the fruit, then lemon again, and sugar and fruit.
4. Fill the bottle till it’s 70% full.
5. The last layer must be covered with lemon.
6. Close the bottle and placed it at a cool area for 3 weeks.
7. Remember to open up on the third day to release gas.
8. You will see the bottle filled with water on the 2nd or 3rd day (depends what fruit you used), make sure all the fruits soaked into the water.

My aunt loves dragon fruit so I made her a jar of dragon fruit enzyme. According to some article, dragon enzyme can prevent aging!!

So which one you going to vote? EARTH or GLOBAL WARMING? I had this discussion with FL yesterday night and I asked him should we VOTE EARTH? Then he said, ya, let’s do it. Then my second question to him was, so what are we going to do when the lights are off? It’s 8:30pm, too early to sleep! So here’s what we had come out… we can..

1. Go down to the play ground and from there, count which unit VOTE GLOBAL WARMING. wuahahahahah…
2. Go out makan/shopping, but i’m not sure if we do this, do we consider voting GLOBAL WARMING? cos i think restaurant/shopping centers definitely will switched on their lights right?
3. bring two chairs to the balcony and enjoy the moon light…
